California Residents: Prior to December 2023 the trim material used on the Tri-Fold lid and RUX Pocket liner had a short chain c6 DWR coating, made with PFAS chemicals. Once RUX learn learned this coating was being used it was switched for all future production and all RUX products are free from intentionally added PFAS.

Boden und Deckel sind beide mit PU laminiert, um die Haltbarkeit zu erhöhen. Der Deckel besteht ebenfalls aus geformtem EVA-Schaum und hat einen überhängenden Rand, damit er nicht verrutscht und dem Wetter standhält. RUX ist nicht tauchfähig oder wasserdicht.

RUX lässt sich hervorragend stapeln, wenn er gefüllt oder teilweise gefüllt und komprimiert ist. Die bistabilen Eckstreben aus Stahl sind dafür gedacht, die Tasche leicht zu öffnen und dort zu halten, damit sie leicht zugänglich und verpackbar ist.
