Meet RUX Storyteller @campwithcol! Adventurer, photographer, and backcountry chef extraordinaire. We sat down and heard all about what he’s been cookin’ up lately and how he uses his RUX!
Where you live:
I live in Richmond, British Columbia.
What makes you happy?
There are a ton of things that bring me joy. Above all, I think I would sum it up by saying that what makes me happy is being with the people I love in the places I love. When I get to take my family or my community to the Outdoors, I’m over the moon. Seeing their perspectives about the outdoors and watching them take in the beauty is one of my great joys in life. I also cannot forget to say that cooking is something that brings me a tonne of happiness too!
Latest adventure?
My latest adventure was travelling to Patagonia with my dad and hiking throughout the whole region. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’ll cherish it for the rest of my life. It truly sums up what makes me happy.
How you've been using RUX?
The RUX is something that I use on a weekly basis. As an outdoor food content creator, I have to balance efficiency with adventure. I'm constantly needing to bring prepared food and gear to shoot the videos that I create. The RUX helps me to organize all of my meal preparations and transport them comfortably to a beautiful location. The RUX helps me to not get so bogged down with finding ingredients and utensils that I'm needing. It helps me accomplish the work that I need to do in a stylish and efficient manner.
What else are you up to?
Right now, I’m releasing 50 backpacking food recipes in 50 days, and the RUX is helping me do it. It's a big task that's made easier with my RUX.
