The straps are specifically for tying your RUX 70L down to racks and rails. At one end is a RUX Buckle, which connects directly to the Utility Rail on your RUX 70L. At the other end is a RUX e-hook which allows you to hitch the strap around a rail.

Frequently Asked Questions

Using the Utility Straps, there are several ways to secure your RUX 70L to something, or vice versa. At the top: the straps fit precisely through the slots in the Utility Rails on a RUX 70L, so you can lash it to a rack, or attach say a hatchet or other piece of gear to the upper exterior or interior of your RUX 70L. At the bottom: there are lashpoints (slots) around the lower circumference of the bag, yielding numerous places to thread the Utility Straps.

RUX Waterproof Bags and Soft Coolers have similar lash points, again making it easy to slide a Utility Strap through and secure something in place. Secure a Waterproof Bag to a SUP, or a Cooler Cube to a bike handle. Anything goes.

The straps have a E-Hook at one end and a RUX buckle at the other end. On the E-Hook end, you can easily loop the strap around a rack rail then secure it back onto itself. At the other end, the RUX Buckle securely connects to the Utility Rails on your RUX 70L.

The straps come in two lengths: Standard (56 cm / 22") and XL (112 cm / 44"), allowing you to choose the appropriate size for your specific needs.

    Securely locks my 70Ls to anything I need. I use the tie down straps a lot on the family beach cart, my sled, and even for connecting multiple 70Ls together.

    Infinitely better than any other tie-down strap! So quick and easy to connect and detach. I've driven with my 70L on my rood rack for literally thousands of kilometers and couldn't be more stoked on the tie-down straps!
